Currently, JHEOR can only accept manuscripts written in English. There is no explicit limit on the length of articles submitted, but authors are encouraged to be concise.
JHEOR will not edit submitted manuscripts for style or language, but reviewers may advise rejection of a manuscript if it is compromised by grammatical errors. Authors are advised to write clearly and simply, and have their article reviewed by colleagues prior to submission. In-house copy-editing by JHEOR will be minimal. Non-native speakers of English may elect use of outside copyediting services.
The abstract is one of the most important parts of a manuscript and should be given extra consideration by the authors. The abstract should not exceed 350 words. Please minimize the use of abbreviations and do not cite references in the abstract.
